Original Marilyn Manson Guitarist Daisy Berkowitz Dead At 49

Daisy Berkowitz, real name Scott Putesky, best known as the founding guitarist of Marilyn Mason, died after a battle with stage four colon cancer. He was 49. Putesky's death was reported by San Antonio Current and the guitarist revealed he was diagnosed with cancer back in 2013 after visiting an emergency room for pains in his abdomen that had been experiences for several years. Soon after the diagnoses his told WLRN.org, "It represents my personal crusade. Cancer: Take my hair. Take my mustache. I challenge you. I still have my hair and mustache. So I'm winning." Putesky left Marilyn Manson in 1996 and went on continue his music career with band such as Jack Off Jill, Three Ton Gate and Godhead.
