Time will tell, as for now we do know that Matchbox 20's as yet untitled sophomore album will hit the stores in May. The album is being produced by Matt Serletic, the man behind the production of the bands debut album and the megahit - Rob Thomas / Santana collaboration - "Smooth".
It was "Smooth" that helped Santana gain the nominations for this years Grammy's top awards. Many believe the magic will rub off onto the new Matchbox 20 album, since Thomas co-wrote the hit single.
Nothing in this business is for sure, but it wouldn't be smart to bet against Matchbox 20.
