Hear Gavin Adcock's New Anthem 'Workin' Man'

Gavin Adcock has released their brand new anthem "Workin' Man". The track comes from his forthcoming album, "The Day I Hang It Up," which will arrive on October 2nd.

Adcock wrote "Workin' Man" with Luke Laird and Jimi Bell, and he had this to say about the track, "This song is for working people. The kind of people who put in long hours, take pride in what they do and make time for the people they love.

"My fans live that life. They work hard all week and come to our shows ready to have a good time. It's also about knowing what you deserve. If somebody isn't treating you right, there's someone else out there who will. There's nothing like having a good, hardworking person by your side."

For the music video, Gavin personally asked fans to submit videos of their blue collar, "Workin' Man" jobs on his Instagram. He received an overwhelming response with nearly 4,000 videos submitted. The final music video, feature nearly 500 fans, and can be seen below.

He had this to say about the new album, "The last five years have been the wildest time of my life. I've been through nearly everything a person could imagine, writing songs and living on a damn tour bus. Through all of that I've stood up to my darkest demons, laughed in the face of adversity, and kept the pedal down letting out music for my fans."

Adcock added, "Some artists come in, make a couple records, and disappear for the rest of their life. For me? Imma be doing this sh*t 'til the day I die. I wanna thank every single one of y'all for rockin with me on this wild ride."
