Miranda Lambert has announced that she will return to her home state for a one-night-only album release show on Tuesday, Oct. 6th to celebrate the release of her new studio album "Crisco" (out October 2nd).
The special event will take place at Billy Bob's Texas, where generations of fans have filled one of country music's most iconic dance floors. It's a natural homecoming for Crisco, an album inspired by the long-overlooked kinship between country music's dance hall tradition and its shared heartbeat with disco clubs, according to Essential Broadcast Media.
"When I was in the studio recording Crisco, I kept picturing the rhinestone saddle at Billy Bob's," shares Lambert. "It's the perfect visual for a country disco album: honky tonk with some extra rhinestones and shine. I've played some of my all-time favorite shows at Billy Bob's and it felt like the best place to bring everyone together to have fun and live out the feeling of this album."
Tickets on sale to the general public this Friday, Aug. 14 at 10 a.m. CT. The show announcement comes on the heels of Friday's release of "Sunset Marquis," a dreamy, California-soaked song that joins the previously released title track plus "Till The Going's Gone" and GRAMMY-nominated duet "A Song To Sing" with Chris Stapleton in showcasing the vibrant layers and joyful creative spirit at the heart of Crisco.
