
AC/DC guitarist Stevie Young has been hospitalized in Buenos Aires and is undergoing testing. The legendary band just launched their South American Tour, which resumes this coming Monday.
A spokesperson shared (via Reuters, "Out of an abundance of caution, he was admitted to a local [Buenos Aires] hospital where he is undergoing a full battery of tests. Stevie is doing well and is in good spirits. He is looking forward to getting onstage on Monday."
The 69-year-old guitarist joined the band in 2014, replacing his famous uncle Malcolm Young after he was diagnosed with dementia. The band are set to kick off a sold-out three night stand at Estadio River Plate in Buenos Aires on Monday, followed by three shows in Mexico City before they kick off a new North American trek this summer.
