Bret Michaels appears optimistic that Poison will reunite in 2027 to launch a new tour to celebrate the anniversary of their debut album "Look What The Cat Dragged In".
The band was expected to reunite this year to mark the 40th anniversary of the album but Bret's solo schedule prevented it from happening. Michaels was asked about the "drama" surrounding the failed 2026 tour during an appearance on Trunk Nation on SiriusXM.
He responded, "most people like the drama. I'm an anti-drama guy. I love the guys. I think '27 is going to be great. And I want to know Rikki is my brother. I mean, in anything, you're allowed to agree and you're allowed to disagree.
"But we're going to go out there and make it incredible. Honestly, if '27 all works out here, you'll be one of the very first, if not first in, and we'll jump on the phone, get the whole band on there or at least me and Rikki just talking it up and be able to lay out some dates and bring a great reunion tour.
"But I love both. I'm grateful for Poison and I love my brothers and sisters in the BMB and I don't see any reason we can't do both to make it great."
