Neal Schon Reflects On 53 Years Of Journey With Gratitude

Journey cofounder Neal Schon took to social media to share a message with fans thanking them for their support throughout his career as the band continues their farewell tour.

Schon wrote, "To Our Fans Around the World, I want to take a moment to say thank you. For over 53 incredible years with Journey, and even before that, my time with Santana, music has been the driving force of my life.

"From the very beginning-playing alongside Gregg Rolie, Ross Valory, George Tickner, and Aynsley Dunbar-we set out on a journey none of us could have imagined would last this long.

"And it's all because of you. Your support, your energy, your belief in the music-decade after decade-has meant everything to me. You've been there through every chapter, every song, every stage.

"Like anything that lasts this long, there are moments that test you. These are challenging times, no question. But I've always believed that where there are challenges, there's also the opportunity for something new.

"And I'm looking forward to that next chapter.

"With gratitude, respect, and love-thank you for staying on this ride with "me. Neal Schon"

The legendary band's farewell trek, The Final Frontier, continues across North America this spring and currently is scheduled to run through July 7th in Des Moines, followed by a show in Sturgis on August 11th at the Full Throttle Saloon.
