Blake Whiten Makes Grand Ole Opry Debut

(Warner) 21-year-old South Carolina native Blake Whiten marked a major career milestone on Saturday, Feb. 14, stepping into the coveted circle for his Grand Ole Opry debut. The Enchntmnt / Warner Records artist delivered standout performances of original songs, including the unreleased "Bet On That," the brand-new "Break Me" and his breakout hit "Rollin' Stone," earning roaring applause from the sold-out Opry crowd.

"This is making all my dreams come true, and I never would've guessed I'd be here one day," Whiten shared from the circle during his Grand Ole Opry debut. The milestone moment follows the release of Whiten's latest single, "Break Me," a slow-burning track that embraces the messy truth of, as Whiten puts it, trying "to put an old flame out with gasoline." Of the song, Whiten further shared, "At the time, I really wanted to write the hardest, saddest breakup song. Something that feels like knowing better, but still asking that person to come back and wreck your life just one more time. I think that feeling got across with this one. You can feel the sadness in this song."

Adding to an already banner week, Whiten was also named SiriusXM's latest Highway Find, joining a short list of artists The Highway has spotlighted early on in their careers, including Luke Combs, Gabby Barrett, Lanie Gardner and Parker McCollum.

Next, Whiten heads out on the road for Bailey Zimmerman's Different Night Same Rodeo arena tour, kicking off this Friday, Feb. 19 in Estero, Fla. After hitting some of North America's largest fairs and festivals this summer, he'll embark on Morgan Wallen's Still The Problem stadium tour, with stops at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Mich. and Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa.

Since announcing his signing to Warner Records last June, the momentum surrounding Whiten's breakout has continued to build, with the artist recently named one of Pandora's 2026 Country Artists to Watch and included on Country Now's "Country Next: 10 Artists To Watch in 2026." That rise has been fueled by his Six Mile EP and anchored by breakout track "Rollin' Stone," which landed on SiriusXM's The Highway and playlists including Spotify's Hot Country and Apple Music's Country Risers, amassing more than 94 million global streams to date and powering Whiten's headlining Rollin' Stone Tour, while recent releases like "Hard to Break" and "Night N' Day" continue to expand his growing catalog.
