(Warner) In celebration of her 26th birthday, Dasha is gifting fans something deeply personal: a live recording of her most vulnerable song to date, "Oh, Anna!" captured at the Grand Ole Opry.
Already regarded as one of her most honest and emotionally raw releases, "Oh, Anna!" finds Dasha at her most unfiltered, wrestling with identity, growth, and the complicated relationship we have with our younger selves. The 2025 Opry NextStage class member stepped into the famed circle for the first time in June 2024. This version was recorded live on the Opry stage back in August, stripping the song down to its core, spotlighting the ache in her voice and the weight of every lyric.
"Stepping into the circle never loses its magic for me. Every time I stand on that stage, I think about the little girl who used to go by Anna and dreamed about moments like this," Dasha says. "The Opry carries so much history; it's where country music's story has been told for generations, and 'Oh, Anna!' carries my own history," Dasha says. "When I sang it there this past summer, I knew it was a moment I'd want to hold onto forever. Releasing this live version on my 26th birthday feels like the most meaningful way to honor where I started and who I've become. It's a gift to myself I'll always cherish."
Releasing the track on her birthday feels intentional. The kind of milestone that invites reflection, not just on where she's been, but on who she's becoming and what her new music promises.
With this release, Dasha continues to prove she's more than a breakout moment; she's an artist grounded in storytelling, unafraid to let the cracks show. And at 26, she's stepping into her next chapter with clarity and conviction.
Dasha continues her meteoric rise with a string of defining 2025 milestones, including an MTV Video Music Awards nomination for Push Performance of the Year, a Best New Female Artist nod at the ACM Awards, and a commanding set on the Mane Stage at Stagecoach Festival.
Her breakout smash "Austin (Boots Stopped Workin')" became one of the most-streamed country songs of the year and earned Female Song of 2024 at the People's Choice Country Awards, helping propel her into a billion-stream era. What began as a viral breakthrough has evolved into something far bigger, a global, genre-blurring ascent that's reshaping the blueprint for modern country stardom.
