2 Lane Summer Share New Song 'Heaven Knows'

(QHMG) Soulful country-pop duo, 2 Lane Summer, released "Heaven Knows," a feel-good tempo tune about finding a partner so perfect they must have been part of God's plan.

Propelled by high-energy electric guitar, heart-pounding drums and, of course, 2 Lane Summer's trademark vocal harmonies, which Billboard has described as "bold and beautiful," the uber-positive track encourages us to believe that "Things have a way of always workin' out."

"Heaven Knows" was penned by 2 Lane Summer's Joe Hanson and Chris Ray alongside Dustin James, Tim Owens (Sugarland's Billboard No. 1 "Settlin'") and Nathan Woodard. The sunny slice of country-pop happiness was produced by Ash Bowers (Matt Stell's multi-Platinum No. 1 "Prayed for You").

"We wrote this one about finding that perfect person that you know is from God, and to celebrate that relationship," says Hanson.

"'Heaven Knows' is one of those songs where you play it in the car, you roll the windows down and you jam it out with the person you love," adds Ray.

The song's simple yet instantly memorable chorus playfully captures the elation of falling for an angel and landing on cloud nine, while also hinting at the serious philosophical concepts of destiny and divine intervention:

Heaven knows, heaven knew
You're all my prayers baby, comin' true
Never dreamed I'd ever hold an angel like you
But Heaven knows, Heaven knew

Praised by SiriusXM Canada's Eric Alper for "proving that great music, true stories ... still make for the best kind of love song," 2 Lane Summer released their debut EP, The Love Songs, shortly after signing with Quartz Hill Records last year. Since then, the viral duo has received a steady stream of requests to perform at fans' weddings-and even engagement proposals-across the U.S.

In an era of troubling news headlines and polarized politics, 2 Lane Summer's dependable message of positivity, faith, friendship and love is resonating strongly with the public. Joe Hanson and Chris Ray have found that the love they offer audiences via 2 Lane Summer's music is being returned to the duo many times over.

2 Lane Summer continues to organically amass a fast-growing fan base, which now includes nearly 800,000 social media followers. The duo's music catalog has earned close to 19 million streams.
