Tucker Wetmore Takes 'Brunette' To No. 1

(MCA) Tucker Wetmore goes three-for-three as his latest single "Brunette" tops both the Mediabase Country and Billboard Country Airplay charts this week. His fastest-rising radio single to date, "Brunette" marks Wetmore's third consecutive No. 1, following the success of "Wind Up Missin' You" (Dec. 2024) and "3,2,1" (Jan. 2026), placing him in an elite group of country superstars whose first three singles have reached No. 1.

The chart-topping feat comes on the heels of Wetmore winning New Male Artist of the Year at the 61st ACM Awards ,where he delivered an electric performance of "Brunette," with Billboard praising Wetmore's "charisma of an arena headliner." Written by Chris LaCorte, Chase McGill, Josh Miller and Blake Pendergrass, "Brunette" has already amassed more than 300 million global streams.

The milestone continues a meteoric rise for the Back Blocks Music/MCA/Mercury Records artist, who has quickly established himself as one of country music's most impactful new voices. Building on a breakout 2025, Wetmore's debut album What Not To became the biggest country album from a new artist last year. The album debuted at No. 15 on Billboard's all-genre 200 Albums chart and helped propel Wetmore to more than 2.4 billion global career streams.

Wetmore will make his return to Nashville's CMA Fest where he will take the stage at Nissan Stadium on Thursday, June 4. Following the completion of the sold-out first leg of The Brunette World Tour in London last month, Wetmore will launch the tour's second leg later this summer and join Jordan Davis, HARDY and Brooks & Dunn on tour for select dates.

With multiple major award nominations, chart-topping hits and a growing international fanbase, Wetmore continues to prove he's "on the doorstep of true stardom" (Billboard).
