(EBM) Georgia native Gavin Adcock arrives today with a vulnerable new song, revealing that achieving a dream doesn't always equate to happiness; and sometimes, the people we view as successful are just as eager to walk in our shoes as we are to walk in theirs.

"'Shoes' is about how everybody looks in the mirror and for some reason thinks their life isn't good enough. Written by Adcock and Jon Michael McKinnon, "Shoes" peels back the layers of success, offering a raw look at the cost of growing a career while missing out on important life events. The release is Adcock's latest off his upcoming third studio album in three years, The Day I Hang It Up, due October 2 via Thrivin Here Records/Warner Records Nashville.

Adcock's headlining The Day I Hang It Up Tour is now underway with a rotating lineup of special guests including Pecos & The Rooftops, Corey Kent, Tyler Nance, Jake Worthington, The Creekers, Braxton Keith and Mack Geiger.
