(PMK) Country music artist Shea Fisher releases her new single, "What A Man Really Wants," available alongside its official music video. The song was serviced to Texas radio on October 2, with stations beginning to play it the following week.
Written by Fisher and produced by Luke DeJayne, who recently produced four songs on Riley Green's new album and has also worked with Walker Hayes,"What A Man Really Wants" showcases Fisher's signature blend of contemporary country, Western influence and confident storytelling. The lighthearted track offers a playful take on the idea that a woman can embody both the polished, dependable side and the carefree, confident side without having to choose between the two.
"'What a Man Really Wants' is my fun, playful take on a guy wanting the best of both worlds-the sweet Sunday girl who has it all together and the confident Friday-night girl he can kick back and have a beer with," says Fisher. "I love the idea that, at the end of the day, a woman doesn't have to be one or the other-she can be both. That's what I strive to be anyway."
The new single arrives as Fisher builds toward the release of her highly anticipated new studio album, due in February 2027. The eight-track project features collaborations from acclaimed songwriters including Jaron Boyer, Ben Stiller, Walker Hayes, Jessie Jo Dillon and Karyn Rochelle.
"What A Man Really Wants"follows a string of recent releases from Fisher, including "Take Me Back To Texas," "Ow In Cowboy," "TRUCK," and most recently, "Want That Man." The official music video for "Want That Man" has garnered more than 1 million combined views across YouTube and Instagram since its July 24, 2026 release.
Withmore than 745,000 Instagram followers and six No. 1 hits on Australia's ARIA Country Charts, Fisher continues to expand her reach across music, Western culture and rodeo. She is slated to perform the national anthem at the Green Bay Packers vs. Dallas Cowboys game on October 18 and at the National Finals Rodeo (NFR) on December 7 in Las Vegas. Fisher has previously performed before more than 20,000 fans at the NFR and sung the national anthem at major sporting events, including two Texas Rangers MLB games in 2025 and 2026. Fisher also recently appeared alongside her husband, World Champion Tie-Down Roper Tyson Durfey, in Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas"music video.
