(Audible Treats) Putting a melodic spin on her city's trademark rap sound, 414JungleBaby is ready to let the rest of the world know what Milwaukee already does: that she is next up. The young rapper kicks off what is going to be a busy year with "BANG," her new video and single.
"BANG" stacks jungle's chirruping melodies atop racing piano arpeggios, as she gets faded and challenges any comers with an audible air of confidence. In the video, Jungle becomes one with nature as she stalks the bare forest outside of her hometown. "BANG" is the first release from Jungle's forthcoming debut EP, to be released this spring by 300 Ent.
Born and raised in Milwaukee, 414JungleBaby grew up immersed in her city's distinctive and bustling rap scene. Since she was a child, has been making headlines for being unapologetically herself: she made national news in first-grade when a teacher cut off one of her braids in class. Instead of being humiliated, Jungle used that moment as motivation, vowing to never betray her authentic self and express that self through her music. Growing up in Milwaukee's streets, Jungle grew a hard shell, and music was the outlet she used to let her true feelings out. The openly lesbian set herself apart in the scene with her expressive melodies, which allow her to float atop her city's trademark snares with style and grace.
Jungle's distinctive aesthetic has caught the ears of some of Milwaukee's brightest lights, who have given her their enthusiastic co-sign. She teamed up with SME TaxFree on aspirational local hit "I'm Speeding," recruited local legend Chicken P for the down-and-dirty single "Blood On My Socks," and connected with fellow MIL riser Ricch Millie for "Deja Vu," which became her biggest YouTube hit with over 730k views. Jungle closed 2025 on a hot streak, releasing energetic singles "Hit The Ground" and "Any Day Now."
Her debut project on the way, 414JungleBaby plans to elevate her station in 2026. With her history of defying the odds, it would be unwise to bet against her.
