(BHM) Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival 2026 (OMF) is very proud to announce the initial lineup for what has proven one of the beloved Florida independent music festival's defining moments since its inaugural event in 2016 - the PoWoW!, an all-star jam session pairing unexpected talents for a variety of live mashups filled with creativity and imagination against an epic setting under the stars deep in the heart of Sunshine Grove.
OMF26 will see groundbreaking DJ/producer LP Giobbi leading in the first-ever female-led PoWoW, hosting a spectacular lineup of friends and very special surprise guests, including Rick Mitarotonda (Goose), Dominic Lalli (Big Gigantic), Aron Magner (The Disco Biscuits), and more. Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival 2026 takes place March 19-22, as always in the magical South Florida nature paradise of Sunshine Grove.
"The PoWow is one of my favorite experiences we curate each year," Rechulski told Billboard earlier today. "It's about bringing extraordinary artists together to create a truly once-in-a-lifetime moment, one where they push beyond the familiar and explore something entirely new in front of the fans. The fact that this year marks our first-ever female-led PoWow makes it even more powerful. Creating experiences that fans can only have at Okeechobee is central to what we do, and the PoWow is the ultimate expression of that vision."
The past decade has seen a stunning assortment of superstars come together for the PoWoW, beginning in 2016 with a now-legendary jam featuring Miguel, Arcade Fire's Win Butler, John Oates, Mac Miller, Skrillex, The Meters' George Porter Jr. and Zigaboo Modeliste, Kamasi Washington, and more. The years that followed furthered The PoWoW's tradition of uniting diverse artists for unprecedented musical invention, spanning Soulive's Eric Krasno, Michael McDonald, Solange, GRiZ, Vulfpeck, and members of Snarky Puppy (2017); Snoop Dogg, The Roots, Chaka Khan, and Trombone Shorty (2018); Cory Wong & Friends (2020); George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic with Brandon "Taz" Niederauer, Earthgang, and others (2022); and Anderson .Paak with Free Nationals, Big Boi, Goose's Rick Mitarotonda & Peter Anspach, the Earth, Wind & Fire horns, and many more (2023).
Founded in 2016 with a mandate of authenticity, kindness, and respect between each other and the environment we inhabit, Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival 2026 will celebrate the spirit of music, arts, and community with epic headline performances from Cage The Elephant, Fisher, GRiZ, Knock 2, T-Pain, LCD Soundsystem, and The Lumineers, along with a truly diverse, multi-genre lineup of global superstars, rising new artists, certifiable legends, and more, many of whom are making their long-awaited return to the iconic gathering following previous fan favorite performances. An array of additional immersive musical experiences are also in store for OMG 2026 festivalgoers, including the Jungle 51 Stage, presenting extended sets by internationally known DJs from sundown to sunrise.
