(IR) Island Records releases the official soundtrack for the new Prime Video series, Off Campus, out today. The soundtrack features new music from Asha Banks, The Two Lips, Chloe Lilac, Matthew Perryman Jones, Winifred, and Will Linley, alongside authentic cast performances that bring a raw, lived-in feel to the series.
The show also includes an in-show performance by Remi Wolf, alongside a bespoke cover of "Dancing With Myself" featured in a meaningful scene between Hannah and Garrett.
Of "Too Busy Missing You," Asha Banks shares, "Too Busy Missing You" captures the lingering ache of heartbreak and the struggle to move on while grappling with the pain of an ex who has already found love with someone else. "Too Busy Missing You' is about missing out on life whilst being hung up on someone. It describes a feeling I'd found hard to articulate until I started writing this song, so I really hope people relate!"
Of "kiss goodbye," The Two Lips express, "'kiss goodbye' tells the story of loving someone who feels both irresistible and impossible, that even 'in paradise' the same cycles repeat themselves. The song expresses the wondering of what it would be like if we had never met and if one last kiss is closure or just another reason to stay."
The soundtrack also includes music from the show's fictional band, After Hours, expanding its immersive musical world, as well as three performances by main character Hannah Wells (Ella Bright), who sings an original song by Grammy-winning songwriter Amy Allen and Ethan Gruska in the finale episode.
The 16-song soundtrack for the series is a dynamic blend of original music and iconic tracks, including 4 original songs; the show also features 19 on-camera performances that together shape its emotional core. Music was embedded into the creative process from the earliest stages, with the music team brought on immediately after the writers' room to help define a distinct sonic identity alongside creator Louisa Levy. Music Supervisors Amanda Krieg Thomas and Anna Romanoff, working with Executive Music Producer Alana Da Fonseca, crafted a sound that bridges classic and contemporary influences. The series' musical identity honors the source material while adding a modern edge. Through eclectic needledrops, on-camera performances, and original recordings, the music reflects the characters' deep connection to sound and story.
