(Atlantic) Fast-rising 17-year-old electropop sensation Sorisa ascends to even greater heights with the premiere of his latest single, "Melody I Can Finish," available everywhere now via Atlantic Records.
The buoyant new track is the first-ever release to be fully written, produced, and composed by Sorisa himself and is accompanied by an official music video. Sorisa introduced "Melody I Can Finish" to fans earlier this month at his show-stopping debut festival performance at Rolling Loud Orlando, jumping into the pit and moshing with the packed crowd to the ecstatic new song.
"Melody I Can Finish" follows last March's arrival of his debut EP, I Love Colours, available everywhere HERE. Balancing electronic, alternative, and pop with iridescent vocals and inventive production, the project includes singles such as "11 Days Ago," "Get Used To Me," and "Can We Talk," all joined by imaginative companion videos streaming on Sorisa's official YouTube channel HERE. "A vibrant EP that blends emotional storytelling with dance-leaning electronic production," raved EDMNomad. "The project highlights Sorisa's approach to songwriting and sound design, pairing expressive vocals with atmospheric synth work and rhythmic electronic foundations...With I Love Colours, Sorisa presents a collection that reflects individuality and creative expression while exploring the emotional shades that define modern electronic music."
Recently named among Billboard's "10 Rising Canadian Acts to Watch in 2026," Sorisa is set for a wide range of upcoming live performances in his hometown of Toronto, ON, including FIFA Fan Festivalâ„¢ Toronto (June 26) and First Class Fest (August 28). The dates follow a series of sold-out "I Love Colours Experience" headline shows at such iconic venues as Toronto's Axis Club, NYC's Mercury Lounge, and Los Angeles, CA's The Echo.
Going to high school by day and devoting every other waking hour to music, Sorisa has quickly left his mark on Toronto's fervent underground with a series of incisively infectious releases. The 17-year-old artist first made waves by uploading music to Soundcloud as "brokeboyhappy." He soon adopted the name Sorisa - taken from the Spanish "sonrisa" for "smile" - and lit up the internet with such tracks as "La," "Go," and breakout anthem, "U Look So Good in Fall," earning him over 1.5M cumulative worldwide Spotify streams thus far. Media attention shortly followed, including outlets such as Billboard, Canada's CBC, and more. Last year saw Sorisa make his spectacular live debut with a sold-out hometown headline show at Toronto's iconic Lee's Palace. Now, with "Melody I Can Finish" - and more vibrant new music to come - Sorisa looks to enthrall fans everywhere with his charismatic personality and uncontainable artistic spirit.
