(Audible Treats) Chief Keef announces that he is adding two additional shows to his headlining "Chief Keef Live 2026" tour, launching in September. The rap icon adds new shows in Pittsburgh and Milwaukee, changing the date of his Boston show to accommodate the new markets.
Last week, Sosa announced that he has officially sold out the opening night of the "Chief Keef Live 2026" tour, taking place on September 12th in Chicago. The upcoming show is Sosa's first headlining show in Chicago in a decade, and marks the beginning of his first headlining tour since 2024. The sold-out hometown show returns Chief Keef to the city where his career began more than fifteen years ago. Widely credited with pioneering the Chicago drill sound, his return to headline his hometown carries particular significance, arriving just weeks after his 31st birthday and following a sustained period of critical and commercial momentum.
"Chief Keef Live 2026" will travel to major markets nationwide, including Minneapolis, Detroit, Houston, New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Denver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, before concluding October 28 at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas. The set will span Chief Keef's expansive catalog, from Finally Rich staples like "Love Sosa" to material from his latest mixtape, Skeletor, with support from The Glo Boyz and surprise guest appearances expected throughout the tour.
Chief Keef enters the tour following a period of significant creative and commercial momentum. His 2024 album Almighty So 2 debuted at No. 3 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart and No. 9 on Top Rap Albums, and was named among the best releases of 2024 by Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, The New Yorker, Complex, and Dazed. Rolling Stone also named Finally Rich one of the 200 Greatest Hip-Hop Albums of All Time, underscoring Chief Keef's continued influence on the genre.
In 2026, Chief Keef released the viral tracks "Shake Dat" and "Rooms," collaborated with Katy Perry on the "Legendary Lovers Remix," and released Skeletor, setting the stage for the current tour.
