Watch girl in reds 'blue' Video

(Columbia) girl in red returns today with brand-new single "blue," out now via Columbia Records alongside the official music video. Marking her first new music since the release of her raw and introspective track "Hemingway," "blue" finds Marie Ulven at her most open and reflective. Built around the candid songwriting that has defined her music from the beginning, the track captures the uncertainty of change and the emotions that come with finding your way through it.

The official video brings "blue" to life through an intimate look at Marie's relationship. Filmed in Oslo, the city she calls home, the visual takes viewers through the journey of their relationship over the years, capturing the moments and memories that have shaped their story. Personal and honest, the video adds another layer to vulnerability of "blue," while introducing a striking new visual world. In the days leading up to the release, fans began noticing that something was changing. Ahead of the yearly streaming peak of "we fell in love in october," the iconic red sweater in the artwork quietly turned blue. Marie's Instagram icon of Mozart went from wearing a red shirt to blue, and @girlinred became @girlinblue, with each subtle clue signaling that something new was on the way.

With "blue," girl in red is officially back, and this is only the beginning. More is still to come.
