In July, platinum-selling indie-rock band Lord Huron took the stage, followed by a sold-out performance from GRAMMY Award-nominated rock favorites Death Cab for Cutie. The month culminated with Pulitzer Prize and GRAMMY Award-winning artist Rhiannon Giddens' American Tunes: Lift Ev'ry Voice and Sing, featuring Mary Chapin Carpenter, Mavis Staples, and Hurray for the Riff Raff. The special program celebrated the profound influence and enduring legacy of women and Black artists in shaping American folk music.
The season continued in August with another sold-out performance from four-time GRAMMY Award-winning Americana trailblazer Sierra Ferrell, followed by widely acclaimed indie-folk band Big Thief, and electronic powerhouse Chris Lake. GRAMMY Award-winning producer Zedd capped off September with an electrifying sold-out set, and GRAMMY Award-winning hip-hop artist Chance the Rapper closed out the outdoor concert season in October with a performance celebrating the tenth anniversary of his landmark mixtape, Coloring Book.
The Momentary's intimate indoor venue, RØDE House, offers another dynamic slate of performances throughout the season. Indie-rock bands Momma and The Beths performed earlier in the year, followed by a co-headlining show from Snail Mail and Soccer Mommy. Closing out the season in the RØDE House are performances by Black Country, New Road (October 16), Cut Copy (DJ Set) and The Faint (November 6), and Los Lobos (December 6).
