Against the Current Celebrates 15th Anniversary With 'Heavenly' Single

(BHM) Against the Current celebrates their 15th anniversary with the return of a striking and emotionally charged new release, "Heavenly," produced by Josh Gilbert from the band Spiritbox. The track marks a bold evolution in the band's sound, blending cinematic intensity with raw vulnerability and darker sonic textures.

"'Heavenly' is the realization that the fall from grace is liberation. After balancing on a knife's edge atop a pedestal others put you on, the moment of letting everyone down becomes the first gasp of fresh air after a lifetime of holding your breath," says lead singer Chrissy Costanza.

The collaboration with producer Josh Gilbert adds a subtle but impactful depth, bridging the gap between alternative rock and modern metal while amplifying the song's emotional weight. The result is a track that feels both expansive and intimate, an anthem of release and self-reclamation.

Since their formation, Against the Current have built a global following through their dynamic sound and fearless evolution. With "Heavenly," the band continues to push boundaries, stepping confidently into a new era that highlights both their growth and their willingness to explore uncharted territory.
