(Atom Splitter) Celebrating 20 years since the release of the band's iconic and long-beloved album "...And Don't Forget The Breathe," A Static Lullaby is breathing new life into a nostalgic soundtrack with special live renditions of the complete tracklist, coming out on May 15, 2026 via Smartpunk Records.
To give us a glimpse of the newly recorded live album, the band shares the music video for "The Shooting Star That Destroyed Us" When discussing the upcoming live record, the band shares, "Celebrating 25 years as a band, we wanted to go back to the songs that started it all. After playing a few full-album shows, we realized we wanted to share that experience with everyone. If we couldn't make it to your city to play it for you live, we could at least bring it into your living room and let you share that moment with us.
"So we filmed it and recorded it live in the studio. It's been a while since we were fully active as a band, and we wanted to reintroduce ourselves to our fans and community through the familiar sound of an album that helped shape a post-hardcore/emo scene that has now become very much mainstream.
"This live album is nostalgic for us, but it also feels new. We're grown-ass men playing songs we wrote when we were 18, and somehow they still feel fresh and just as relevant today.
"This isn't a 'remember us?'
"It's a 'we're back,' and we're genuinely excited to share what's coming next.'"
