Arcade Fire DJ Set Coming To The Maze Halloween Event

(Falcon Publicity) Los Angeles' premier Halloween event, THE MAZE, returns to downtown Los Angeles' Arts District on Saturday, October 31, with the addition of Arcade Fire DJ set (featuring Win Butler + Paul Beaubrun).

The announcement follows the tragic passing of previously announced artist Kavinsky, whose music and unmistakable creative vision helped shape the sound and aesthetic of a generation. THE MAZE will honor Kavinsky through a special installation, themed areas throughout the event, and unique content celebrating his music, influence, and enduring legacy.

Arcade Fire will join THE MAZE lineup-alongside French electronic duo The Blaze (performing live) and Los Angeles house music favorite Claude VonStroke-for a full DJ set featuring live performance and instrumentation. The addition of an Arcade Fire DJ set, coupled with the event's visually captivating fright elements, offers a rare opportunity to experience these artists in a unique format. Other world-class talents joining THE MAZE are Porky b2b Bones, Valou, Araminta and Oren.

The 2026 edition of THE MAZE-presented by Los Angeles nightlife innovators SBCLTR and Minimal Effort, creators of Resolutions NYE-NYD-expands into its most ambitious edition yet with a new and larger location in downtown Los Angeles. After two sold-out years at Union Station, THE MAZE moves to the Arts District for the first time, transforming the area into a large-scale indoor and outdoor Halloween block party experience.

"Kavinsky was an artist we deeply admired, and having him be part of this year's Maze meant a great deal to all of us," shares event producer Cyril Bitar of Minimal Effort. "His passing was an enormous loss, and we never wanted to simply move forward without recognizing the place he held in this event. We will honor him through a special installation, themed areas throughout The Maze, and unique content celebrating his music, his singular vision, and the lasting influence he had on electronic music and culture. At the same time, we're excited to welcome Arcade Fire for a rare DJ set and to bring together music, art, and immersive production for the most ambitious edition of The Maze we've ever created."

For one night only, guests will step into a world of music, art, mystery, and exploration. Hidden pathways, roaming live performers, large-scale installations, immersive environments, a major music lineup, and unexpected discoveries will transform the Arts District into a surreal Halloween playground where reality and imagination collide.

The event will feature multiple stages and environments, from open-air performances beneath the downtown skyline to intimate late-night moments inside the venue's state-of-the-art KV2 sound environment. Nothing has been done at this scale on Halloween in this area before; every turn will reveal a new experience.
