Porcelain Recruit Pro Skater Ryan Thompson For 'Waltz' Video

(BHM) Porcelain are excited to share another preview of their sophomore album, Today's Minor Victories, arriving October 23, 2026 via TODO Records.

New single "Waltz" arrives today, complete with an official music video featuring the band skateboarding at a local DIY skatepark in Austin and performing in No-Comply Skate Shop with pro skater Ryan Thompson. "Waltz" simmers with a slow build, channeling the isolation of depression into pummeling riffs.

Speaking about the new single, the band shares, "This song is about trying to relate with someone who is going through a depressive episode, to help them feel seen and that they're not alone. Depression can be isolating; it can consume you in a way that makes you feel unrelatable to everyone around you, that no one understands what you're going through. The truth is, you're not alone; we just need to reach out to each other and talk about it. Everything that we carry, everything we keep to ourselves, it all adds up. Don't let it consume you to a place where you make a permanent solution to a temporary problem."

Today's Minor Victories is 47 minutes of dynamic post-hardcore recorded live with minimal layering at Estuary Studios in Austin, engineered and mixed by Scott Evans and mastered by Greg Obis at Chicago Mastering Service. The record leans into grief, loss, and perseverance, with the title reflecting the small things that get you through to seeing tomorrow. Sonically, the band arrives tighter and more direct than ever, a result of heavy touring and reworking parts live before recording.
