(Epitaph) Sleep Theory share Paper Hearts - Reimagined, a new digital companion to their 2023 EP today, featuring lo-fi and stripped-back versions of each track. The release is accompanied by a series of dreamscape visualizers, each layered with easter eggs for eager fans to discover.
Stripping away their hard-rock intensity, Paper Hearts - Reimagined takes on a renewed depth and vulnerability, highlighting Cullen Moore's dynamic range and effortless croon. "Gone or Staying - Reimagined" and "Numb - Reimagined" shine through acoustic textures, while "Another Way - Reimagined" and "Fallout - Reimagined" offer piano-led cinematic and contemplative interpretations of the originals.
Originally released in September of 2023, the Paper Hearts EP immediately connected with Sleep Theory's ever-growing audience, with the lead track "Fallout" becoming a top-ten song on Active Rock radio in 2024, marking a pivotal moment in the band's meteoric rise.
Fusing passionate R&B and urgent hard rock into a stadium-sized force, Memphis outfit Sleep Theory - Cullen Moore (vocals), Paolo Vergara (bass), Daniel Pruitt (guitar), Benjamin Pruitt (drums) - are an unstoppable force, led by driving guitars, an unstoppable rhythm section, and the massive hooks of powerhouse vocals by Moore. With their debut, Afterglow, and preceding Paper Hearts EP passing 1 billion streams, a 2026 iHeartRadio Music Award for Best New Artist, and five songs reaching Billboard's Mainstream Rock Top 10, with "Stuck in My Head," "Static," and "Words Are Worthless" each hitting No. 1, the band is one of heavy music's biggest breakouts, commanding a grassroots movement built upon raw talent, authenticity, and connectivity.
Major festivals, from Sick New World and Sonic Temple to Download UK and Pinkpop, have embraced them wholeheartedly, and promoters worldwide have continually upgraded venues and added shows to meet demand. Audiences who have seen them on tour with Three Days Grace, Shinedown, Falling In Reverse, Papa Roach, and Beartooth testify to Sleep Theory's cinematic combustion.
Sleep Theory will be closing out the Louder Than Life Loudmouth Stage this Sunday at 10:05pm ET, followed by a performance at Aftershock (10/4), Ceremony Festival (10/17), and Sick New World Texas (10/24). Starting November 1, the band will head over to the UK and Europe supporting Papa Roach, with stops in Dublin, London, Berlin, and more. Sleep Theory will continue into the new year with a February 2027 Australian headline run with support from labelmates Rivals.
