Being the last gig on their 50th Anniversary Tour, the show officially put a bow on a very significant celebration. This was also an emotional return to Hyde Park for the band; the only other time they had played there was in 1969 when they returned to playing live after the death of guitarist Brian Jones. Mick, Keith and Charlie, the three remaining Stones who were there, reminisce about this at the beginning of the film while vintage film clips run.
The concert is typical Stones; Mick dancing and preening, Keef and Woody riffing and Charlie banging away stoically through a long list of career-spanning hits including "Jumpin' Jack Flash," "Start Me Up," "Street Fighting Man," "Ruby Tuesday," "Miss You" and "Brown Sugar."
Notable moments include an appearance by ex-Stone Mick Taylor on "Midnight Rambler," Keith's turn on vocals on "Happy" and "You Got the Silver" (the Let it Bleed cut is the only non-hit in the set list) and Mick's prancing in a white puffy-sleeved shirt that he wore at the '69 show. The rousing anthem "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" closes the show.
