Keavin founded antiMusic's predecessor Rocknworld.com in 1998 with Brian Aguilar. While Brian left after a few months to pursue other adventures, Keavin pushed forward with the idea of exposing lesser known music artists to a wider audience and with the founding of antiMusic a year later that dream began to become realized. His focus shifted to music news in 2003 with the start of the Day in Rock report.
His favorite albums are Iron Maiden's "Number Of The Beast," Stone Sour's "Audio Secrecy," AC/DC's "Back In Black," The Beatles' "Abbey Road" and Def Leppard's "High N' Dry".
His first concerts were KISS on the Creatures Of The Night tour (big venue - Irvine Meadows 1983) and Def Leppard (opening for Pat Travers - small venue- Santa Monica 1980).
Keavin was born and raised in Orange County, Ca. He relocated to Yucca Valley, Ca in 2006, where he lived until 2021. He currently lives in Hamilton, Al with his wife and children.
